Security Policies
SOHO Business Enterprises recognizes the concerns of customers and clients when it comes to the security of the information they share with SOHOBE. Because of this, SOHOBE has several security policies in place to help protect that data.
Customer and Client Information Use
Because we value your privacy, your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company without your consent, other than for the express purpose of transacting billing and payment tasks, unless legally compelled to do so.
Exceptions to this policy include, but are not limited to:
- Courts and attorneys when issued via a court order, subpoena or other lawful instructions from those courts or public bodies or to defend ourselves against a lawsuit brought against SOHOBE,
- Law enforcement officials as authorized or required by law,
- The military if you are a member of the armed forces and SOHOBE is authorized or required to do so by law,

Account Contact
In an effort to prevent spoofing, only one e-mail address is associated per client. E-mail Invoices, Sales Receipts and Statements will be sent to the e-mail account associated with the client name. Requests for information from an unrecognized or unassigned e-mail address will not be processed. To update the e-mail association, e-mail billing to request a change form.
Compliance
The Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act are just two examples of compliance that SOHOBE customers and clients may be governed by. Some of SOHOBE's services may make it or its consultants to be considered Business Associates (BAs) under the acts. As such, SOHOBE may be subject to compliance requirements for implementing administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for Protected Health Information (PHI). Such compliance may require SOHOBE and the customer or client to have written policies and procedures, and agreements in place covering these requirements. It is very important that Customers and Clients inform SOHOBE of any possible compliance requirements before entering into contract with SOHOBE for services.
These policies are subject to change without notice. Please do not include correspondence as part of, or written on, your payment notice. Contact SOHOBE billing directly with your issues.
